Glardon-Vallorbe Barrette Precision Files - LP1060

A barrette precision file lets you cut in a tight area without touching the surface next to it, because only the flat side carries teeth while the edge and top stay safe. The Glardon-Vallorbe Barrette Precision File (LP1060) is Swiss Made, tapered in both width and thickness to a rounded point, and supplied as a tang only with no handle fitted. Measurements are taken at the thickest point of the file.

Manufactured to exacting production standards using a combination of machine cutting and hand craftsmanship, these files are made from fine heat-tempered chrome alloy steel. • File length is measured from the point where the teeth begin to the end of the file, excluding the tang. A 6" precision file, for example, measures approximately 8-1/2" from tip to end of tang but is designated a 6" file.
• Cut grades run from 00 (extra coarse) to 4 (fine) on this product; the higher the number, the finer the cut.
• Measurements are taken at the thickest point of the file.
• Legacy part numbers are the designations these files were previously sold under; LP1060-6-3 has no legacy equivalent.
