Sizing or rebuilding a square shank ring calls for stock that matches the original profile exactly. This square ring sizing stock is supplied as a 3 in (76.2 mm) bar of recycled precious metal for resizing and rebuilding square shank and contemporary profile rings. Clean, square edges file and solder smoothly, so the new section disappears after polishing.

Available in 14K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 18K yellow gold, and platinum, in cross sections from 1.0 to 3.0 mm square (0.04 to 0.12 in), and sold by the bar.
