Foredom K.5400 Deluxe Woodcarving Flex Shaft Kit

Power carving asks a rotary tool for torque that holds up at a crawl as well as flat out, so a hogging bur and a finishing stone can both run off the same foot pedal. The Foredom K.5400 Deluxe Woodcarving Flex Shaft Kit is built on the M.TX 1/3 HP permanent magnet Hi-Torque DC motor, Foredom's most powerful flex shaft motor, running 0–15,000 RPM through a cast iron foot control, with an H.44T collet handpiece that takes 3/32", 1/8" and 1/4" collets and accessory shanks up to 1/4". A 26 piece accessory set completes the kit, which runs on 115V.

Compatibility

The M.TX motor ships with its own shaft and sheath, and the C.SXR-1 foot control is the cast iron control made for LX and TX motors. The H.44T handpiece holds 3/32", 1/8" and 1/4" accessory shanks. This kit is 115V only; TX and TXH motors are not offered in 220V / 240V.

• Always run the motor through its speed control. Do not plug the M.TX motor directly into a wall outlet.
