A micromotor system for the drilling, grinding, stone setting and polishing done at the jeweler's bench, supplied as a complete working setup. The Nakanishi NSK EMax EVOlution Standard Kit with the IR310 Ring Style handpiece brings professional-grade micromotor performance to the bench. Trusted by the finest goldsmiths worldwide, NSK Nakanishi micromotors are renowned for their quality, precision and long-term reliability. This kit bundles everything needed to get started in a single package.

The NE-249 120V control box draws 3 amps and delivers smooth, precise power across a speed range of 1,000–40,000 RPM, with forward and reverse operation. Set speed with the included FC64 foot control or adjust it directly on the control box, which has a compact 5" x 9" footprint. The NE-249 carries two micromotor inputs, so a second motor and handpiece can be added later. The IR310 ring style handpiece uses a twist-to-open, twist-to-close quick-change chuck, is slim and lightweight for long sessions, and is supplied with 3/32" and 1/8" collets, so it takes both of those shank sizes out of the box.

Features

  • Speed range of 1,000–40,000 RPM, or 250–10,000 RPM with the optional reduction gear
  • Forward and reverse operation
  • Foot-operated set point control or variable speed control from the box
  • NE-249 control box includes two micromotor inputs for future expansion
  • IR310 ring style handpiece with twist-to-open, twist-to-close quick-change mechanism
  • Slim, lightweight handpiece design for extended bench use
  • IR310 supplied with 3/32" and 1/8" collets
  • FC64 foot control included

Compatibility

  • The IR310 handpiece takes 3/32" and 1/8" shanks with the supplied collets.
  • The NE-249 control box accepts two micromotors, so a second motor and handpiece can run from the same box.
  • An optional reduction gear drops the operating range to 250–10,000 RPM.

Notes

  • The reduction gear is sold separately and is not included in this kit.
  • This product is available for purchase and shipment only within the United States and Canada.

i have used this for over 5 years as a replacement to other brands tried and it has become invaluable in both stone setting and polishing, without a doubt it performs better than any other micromotor i have used and has a Mercedes feel to the handpiece, it has not given me a moment of problems, 5 star performance all around and worth the investment for any professional
