How we source our metal
Click & Lock jump rings join a clasp, charm, or chain segment with a mechanical closure, so a connection can be secured cold and heat stays away from stones and finished work at the bench. They look and handle like standard jump rings but hide a precision mechanism that snaps the ends together: grip each end with a nylon jaw plier, twist the ends past each other, and a soft click confirms the ring has locked.
The material is 1/20 14K yellow gold filled. Outside diameters run 2.5–9.0 mm (0.10–0.35 in) on wire from 0.5–1.27 mm (0.02–0.05 in), covering 24 gauge through 16 gauge. Rings are sold by the pack, in packs of 36 or 12 pieces depending on the size, and they can still be soldered closed when a permanent joint is wanted.
