Otto Frei Starter Soldering Kit

A starter soldering kit gives a jeweler every bench tool and material needed to begin hard soldering, apart from the torch itself. Hard soldering, known as brazing in other industries, is performed with a torch at temperatures starting at approximately 1500°F using silver or gold solders, and it is distinct from the low temperature soft soldering done with a soldering iron and tin or lead solders.

The Otto Frei Starter Soldering Kit assembles nearly the same items found in the Otto Frei Professional Soldering Kit, in smaller quantities. A 1/4 oz coil of X-Easy silver wire solder is included, so the only thing left to choose is a torch.
