The Swiss Torch system includes four distinct modes of operation: a repair torch with a Hoke-style head familiar to North American jewelers; a microhead torch featuring three hypodermic tips for precise soldering and welding; a platinum torch with a specialized tip that produces a hotter flame for melting and casting small amounts of platinum; and a casting torch, available with either an oxygen/gas or compressed air/gas head. This configuration carries the oxygen/gas casting head.

• The oxygen/gas casting head is not for use with hydrogen
• The Hoke-style head and microhead may be used with hydrogen
• Recommended working pressures: 3 Bar (43.5 PSI) oxygen and 1.5 Bar (22 PSI) propane

Notes

• For best casting results, propane gas is recommended over natural gas when using the oxygen/gas casting head.
• If using natural gas, a natural gas booster will most likely be required to achieve the necessary operating pressure.
