Liver of Sulphur EXtended Life GEL-XL GEL

Liver of sulphur gel darkens silver, copper, bronze and other non-ferrous metals at the bench, so finished work and precious metal clay can be taken to an even, controlled patina. Liver of Sulphur eXtended Life Gel (XL GEL) is a concentrated patina solution built to hold its strength far longer on the shelf than traditional dry liver of sulphur, and it develops rich, consistent color with reliable control over depth. It comes in squeeze bottles and can be diluted for immersion work or used at full strength by brush or by submerging the piece.

Notes

• Stir before use.
• If the gel is cold, warm it in a microwave for no more than 15 seconds. Use caution, as the container and contents may be hot.
• For a dark patina, mix approximately 1 teaspoon of XL GEL per 12 oz (355 mL) of heated water.
• Adjust the gel-to-water ratio to reach different patina effects.
• May also be applied at full strength by brushing it onto the surface or by submerging the object.
