A lever-style quick change handpiece for flex shaft work at the bench, holding 3/32" (2.35 mm) shank burs in a fixed collet that opens and closes with a flick of the side lever, no chuck key needed. The Ottoflex No.20 fits USA standard key tip flex shafts, turns on pre-lubricated ball bearings, and measures 5-5/8" (143 mm) long, 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) across the body and 3/8" (9.5 mm) at the tip, with a net weight of 4 oz. It is made in China.
The side lever snaps open and closed with a crisp, positive feel as you swap burs mid-job, and the fixed collet holds one shank size the same way every time. Notes
- To open the collet, move the lever so it sits at approximately 90 degrees to the body of the handpiece.
- To close the collet and secure the tool, return the lever so it is parallel to the handpiece body.
- Keep the collet clean and free of debris for longest life and the most secure tool holding.
- The collet can be adjusted or replaced if necessary; check the fit periodically if tools begin to slip.
