Hoping for help! When I turn the unit on the pins do spin but seem to be stuck to the bottom. As a result when I put an item in it sits in one place and does not get tumbled.

The pins should rotate while the piece being processed moves very little if at all. Having the piece being processed move around is not necessary. Only the pins do the work. If you have multiple pieces being processed you don't want the pieces moving around and banging into each other. Not sure if you are saying the pins are stuck to the bottom.
