Vertical Bench Vise

A vertical bench vise holds mandrels, stakes, and forming tools upright so you can hammer against a solid base. The Value Line Vertical Bench Vise is a heavy-duty steel vise designed to give jewelers, metalsmiths, and bench workers a secure vertical grip on mandrels, stakes, and forming tools. Mount bracelet mandrels, ring mandrels, or dapping tools vertically and hammer with confidence: this vise delivers near-anvil stability from a surprisingly compact footprint, and it is made in India.

The 3-1/2" × 3-1/2" jaws feature two intersecting grooves, one running front to back and the other side to side, so stakes and mandrels can be locked in either direction for maximum versatility. The T-bar handle slides out of the way during hammering to keep your workspace clear and your work safe.

Two mounting options are built in: attach quickly to your benchtop with the integrated C-clamp, or remove the C-clamp and bolt the vise directly through the four corner holes for permanent installation. No bolts are included for direct mounting.
