Hand-mix a tough production mold for lost wax casting without a vulcanizer, a scale, or a vacuum pump. Castaldo Quick-Sil Firm & Flexible is a two-part room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone putty that produces tough, strong, long-lasting production jewelry molds with 0% shrinkage. Safe, non-hazardous, and non-toxic, it produces no unpleasant fumes or odors, which makes it a reliable choice for professional studio environments.

Mixing is straightforward: combine equal parts of Part A and Part B by hand. No precise measurement or vacuum equipment is required to achieve optimum results. While no vulcanizing is needed, best results are achieved when the mixed putty is clamped under pressure, such as in a vise or an unheated mold press. Detailed instructions are included with every kit.

Beyond lost wax casting molds, Castaldo Quick-Sil Firm & Flexible is also suited for direct casting of low-temperature metals such as lead, tin, and pewter.

Firm & Flexible is the original Quick-Sil formula. A Soft & Flexible version is also available, part number 122.6135SOFT.
