Description
Bringing platinum to a true mirror finish takes a graded run of compounds rather than a single bar. Japanese NW-Platinum Polishing Compounds are engineered for exactly that, formulated in Japan where platinum has long been prized above all other precious metals, and supplied in five graded grits that carry the work from surface preparation to super mirror polish. Each compound is uniformly blended under strict quality control and adheres exceptionally well to burrs, brushes, and felts.
For best results, begin with the 800 grit compound to prepare and smooth the surface, then work progressively through the finer grits, finishing with the 8000 grit compound for a flawless mirror finish. The range covers every stage from matte smoothing to final high polish, giving the bench full control over the finishing sequence.
