Ottotech by EVE Germany Flexacrylic Polishing Rods

Flexacrylic polishing rods get finishing action into the places a wheel cannot reach, working down into recesses, channels, and intricate metalwork. Manufactured by EVE of Germany and sold under the Ottotech line, the rods suspend polishing compound in an acrylic-based material that is both flexible and long-lasting, so the rod flexes and conforms as it works. Three diameters of 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm pair with four grits from coarse through extra fine, covering the full progression from initial material removal to high-luster polishing.

Grit selection by application:

• Blue Coarse: recommended for polishing stainless steel and chrome cobalt hard metals
• Dark Gray Medium: use for material removal on precious metal alloys
• Brown Fine: use for smoothing precious metal alloys
• Green Extra Fine: use for high-luster polishing of precious metal alloys
