ボタン型湯道ベース（ドーナツ型湯道ベースとも呼ばれます）は、鋳造用リングの底部にしっかりと取り付けられるよう設計されており、埋没材を注入する前にワックス製の湯道を通す、中央の開口部を備えています。これらの湯道ベースには、ボタン型の隆起した中央開口部があり、その直径は選択した鋳造用リングのサイズによって異なります。最小サイズの中央開口部は約3/8"です。鋳造用リングの直径1-1/4"から4"に対応する8サイズを用意しており、お手持ちの鋳造用リング在庫に適したベースを簡単に選べます。
