磁気ピンは、回転バレルでは届かない場所、つまり細部、狭いセッティング、奥まった箇所に、ほとんど詰まりを起こさず入り込む研磨メディアです。Ikoheは、錆や腐食に強く、同等の研磨メディアよりも長持ちするよう設計された特殊なクロム合金ステンレス鋼を使用してこれらを製造しており、日本製です。250グラム（17.6オンス）パックで、直径0.3mmと0.5mmの2種類があり、長さはいずれも5.0mmです。これらのピンは、磁気研磨機でのみ使用するよう設計されています。

注意事項

慣らし運転が必要です: 初めて使用する前に、磁気ピンの脱鉄処理を行い、鈍いエッジを慣らす必要があります。Otto Frei OF 610 Magnetic Tumbler Solutionや#750 Powdered Shot Cleanerなどの研磨剤を使用し、5-10分のサイクルを数回行ってください。慣らし運転が完了するまで、他のピンと混ぜたり、仕上げ済みの金属に使用したりしないでください。水溶液が黒く変色しなくなったら、ピンは使用できる状態です。この処理により、光沢仕上げの結果を妨げる可能性がある残留鉄が溶出します。
