Badeco MX-4 Touch Evolution LCD Micromotor with 465 Handpiece

Running several handpieces at one bench station, and switching between them without stopping to flip a switch, is the job this control system does. The Badeco MX-4 Touch Evolution LCD is a professional bench micromotor control system that powers up to four handpieces and four micromotors from a single unit. Updated in Fall 2024 with an LCD display, it uses built-in light sensors to detect which handpiece has been lifted from its holder and directs power to that tool automatically. This kit pairs the control box with the New Carbon 465 quick-change handpiece, an RS2000 micromotor and a PC800 variable-speed foot control.

The RS2000 micromotor runs 2,000–20,000 RPM with high torque across the full range, and the 465 handpiece takes 3/32" (2.35mm) shank tools in a quarter-turn collet. The control box is dual voltage, running on 115V or 220V / 240V.

Notes

Collet precision: the 465 collet is manufactured to tight tolerances for true 3/32" shanks. For best results, use precision burs from makers such as Busch, Brasseler/Germany (Fox, Panther, Komet) and Dentsply Maillefer.

Activation: MX-4 Touch Evolution units ship with the holder light sensors covered. Remove the tape to activate a holder and leave tape on unused holders to keep them inactive.
