Carbide Inside Ring Bur 1/2" x 1" With 1/4" Shank

This bur trues and trims the inside of ring shanks, taking down solder seams and sizing stock in a single pass of the handpiece. Spearhead carbide inside ring burs carry a massive 1/4" shank diameter that prevents the bending common to skinny-shank cylinder burs. The trade-off is that they require a Jacobs chuck-style handpiece or a collet-style handpiece that accepts 1/4" shanks, and the payoff is a bur that stays true and performs reliably under demanding inside-ring work.

Available in two cuts to suit finishing and detail work at different stages, these burs measure 1/2" x 1" in head dimensions and are made from carbide for lasting durability and cutting performance.

These burs require a handpiece with a Jacobs chuck or a collet capable of accepting a 1/4" shank. Standard flex-shaft handpieces with smaller collets will not accommodate this shank size.
