Detailed carving, engraving, and finishing require a handpiece slim enough to hold like a pen and steady enough to maintain its speed under the cut. The Foredom MH-170 is a high-speed rotary handpiece built for that work, with a slender contoured body for control and a quick-change rotary-type chuck that accepts collets for fast, secure bit swaps at the bench.
This handpiece is the micromotor included with the Foredom K.1070 kit and comes standard with a 3/32" (2.35mm) collet. Optional collets in 1/8" and 3mm are available separately. The Foredom Control Box HP4-917 is required for operation and is not included.
