Fretz M-123 Minimal Concave Stake

The Fretz M-123 Minimal Concave Stake is a precision forming stake measuring 1-5/16" (33mm) long, designed to impart subtle, controlled curves to bracelets and sheet metal. Its minimal concave profile leaves a large bracelet appearing almost flat while providing the comfort advantages of a gently curved form. Use it to create the softest of curves on narrow bracelets up to 1" in width—or work with wider sheet stock up to 1-1/2" wide for more dramatic curves. The stake also accommodates tubing with a minimum diameter of 2", with a maximum working width of 1-1/2".

When forming metal that will not be moved laterally, observe the maximum width guidelines. For designs where the metal will be moved and repositioned during forming, much wider stock can be used effectively.

• Use with the Fretz Stake Holder H-1 (112.600) or Fretz Extended Reach Stake Holder H-1L (112.719) for mounting onto a workbench or tabletop.
• For deeper access beyond what the H-1L offers, use the Fretz Double Ended Stake Holder T-101 (112.721) or the Fretz Extender Holder E-101 (112.726) for additional working room.
• Note: Both the T-101 and E-101 feature larger tangs and require correspondingly larger stake holders.
