Description
A speed-reducing attachment for stone setting, seat cutting, and precision hole drilling, the RG-01 mounts between a compatible micromotor and handpiece and trades rotational speed for torque. NSK gears it at an actual 3.92:1 ratio, nominally 4 to 1.
With the RG-01 in line, output speed drops to approximately one quarter of the speed indicated on the control box while torque multiplies by roughly four, giving the steady, unhurried rotation that delicate stones and controlled cuts require. The attachment adds 1.65 in. to the motor and handpiece assembly, weighs 2.4 oz, and fits all Emax EVOlution and Electer E-Max handpieces and micromotors.
