How we source our metal
Close a neck chain with the clasp most wearers already know how to work. Spring rings are the most popular type of clasp used for chains worn around the neck: secure, reliable, and easy to operate. These 14K yellow gold closed top spring ring clasps are round hollow tubes with a tiny coil spring inside and a soldered closed jump ring attached for connecting to one end of a chain. A movable, spring-tensioned bolt has a lever attached; use your fingernail to push the bolt back to open the ring. The bolt is held firmly closed by the internal spring inside the tubing, and opening and closing requires two hands, providing added security during wear.
The closed top jump ring is soldered directly to the body of the clasp, offering a clean, finished attachment point for one end of a necklace chain. Sold individually by the piece, in sizes from 4.5mm to 6.0mm.
