Appropriate Uses

Not Suitable For

• Gases and vapors (e.g., paint spray) unless combined with appropriate 3M chemical cartridges
• Sandblasting operations
• Atmospheres containing unknown contaminants or conditions of oxygen deficiency

Notes

• Replace filters sooner if breathing resistance increases noticeably, if filters become damaged or soiled, or as hygiene dictates.
• For atmospheres containing oil aerosols, P-series filters are generally limited to 40 hours of use or 30 days (whichever comes first), subject to conditions of use.
• Always follow 3M respirator and filter user instructions and all applicable regulations for selection, fit testing, and use.
