Description
The Archimedean Push Drill is a simple, time-tested hand tool designed for starting and drilling precise holes using small twist drills under 1.2mm in diameter. Operated entirely by hand, this drill gives you complete control over speed and pressure — dramatically reducing the risk of drill breakage or wandering from your center punch guide mark. It is ideal for jewelers and metalsmiths who need accurate, controlled drilling in delicate workpieces.
To use, hold the swivel top between one thumb and finger while the other hand slides the knurled rotating rod up and down the twisted shaft. The reciprocating motion drives the drill bit with smooth, consistent rotation. This version is offered without a return spring.
