Notes

Tool change procedure: Hold the handpiece with both hands. With one hand steadying the upper portion, twist the lower ring to the left with the other hand, then push the assembly upward. Turn the ring to the right to hold the assembly raised, and the adjustable chuck extends out to expose the center shaft. Spin the chuck open or closed to fit the drill or bur, then tighten finger-tight. Twist the lower ring to the left to lower the chuck back into the handpiece, then turn right to lock it automatically. To remove a bit, reverse the sequence: raise the assembly, loosen the chuck, remove the tool, and lower the assembly back into the handpiece.
