Application & Use
- Quickly mix equal parts A and B by hand — do not overmix; a uniform color is not required.
- Form the mixture around your model or within a mold frame before the 2-minute working time expires.
- Clamp or press under pressure to eliminate air bubbles and ensure even curing.
- Mold cures fully in about 15 minutes and can be used immediately.
Compatibility
- Ideal for jewelry prototypes, wax models, and small metal components.
- Works with low-melting alloys such as tin, pewter, and lead.
Notes
- Do not overmix; overmixing may cause the compound not to cure properly.
- Warm cold material to room temperature before mixing.
- Cold mold frames may lengthen cure time — warm slightly to 90°F (32°C) before use.
- Residue after molding is harmless mineral oil; clean with soap and water.
- Wash mold frames and tools thoroughly when switching between rubber types to prevent surface contamination.
