ドイツ製の純粋な焼結合成ルビー結晶から作られたDegussitルビー作業台用砥石は、非常に硬い研磨材で、長時間の使用でも形状を維持し、摩耗に強いのが特長です。その極めて高い硬度により、超硬合金の彫りタガネ、ガラス、磁器、石英など、従来の金属に加えて、特に加工が難しい素材の研削や仕上げにも使用できます。各砥石は両面が仕上げられており、汎用性の高い作業台での研磨に、乾式またはホーニングオイルとともに使用できます。
