Description
A soldering station keeps flame and radiated heat off your benchtop and gives you one tidy, protected area to work in. The Durston 1749 Soldering Station is built for professional jewelers and metalsmiths, and it is made in the EU and imported from England. Replacement boards are readily available, which makes the station a long-term bench investment.
The station uses vermiculite boards, which are highly heat reflective and insulating, rated for applications up to 2012°F (1100°C). Vermiculite is a well-established insulation material valued for how easily it cuts and shapes. It produces no dust, is odorless, non-irritating, and is free of ceramic fibers and asbestos.
Please note: This listing is for the soldering station only. A soldering turntable is not included.
