Foredom K.1070 Micromotor Kit

A high speed micromotor system for stone setting, bright cutting with diamond tools and polishing at the bench, where a light touch and a slim, flexible cord matter more than raw torque. The Foredom K.1070 reaches 38,000 RPM, a rate of material removal comparable to a flex shaft system, through a Twist-Turn Quick Change handpiece that takes a standard 3/32" collet and therefore 3/32" shank burs and accessories as supplied. Optional 1/8" and 3 mm collets are sold separately, and collet changes are made with the included wrench.

Speed is adjustable two ways: by the dial on the control box across the low to full speed range or through the included standard variable speed foot pedal. An overload protector light turns red and an audible alarm sounds when the motor stalls. A voltage selector switch on the rear of the control unit supports both 110/120V and 220/240V operation, and the supplied plug is standard North American, so 220/240V operation needs a plug that fits your local outlet.

The slender, contoured handpiece grip is built for high speed precision work and should be used only with accessories rated for at least 40,000 RPM. Its fan-cooled, brush type continuous duty motor runs cool and vibration free on permanently lubricated shielded ball bearings, in forward and in reverse. Foredom imports this kit and tests every unit before it leaves the facility.
