Foredom K.5240 Woodcarving Flex Shaft Kit-115V

Woodcarving with a flex shaft means long stretches of carving, grinding, sanding and polishing without the motor slowing under load, and this kit assembles that whole setup. The Foredom K.5240 Woodcarving Flex Shaft Kit brings together the ball bearing M.SR motor, rated at 1/6 HP and running up to 18,000 RPM, the C.FCT foot speed control, the H.44T collet handpiece and a 26 piece woodcarving accessory kit, supplied in the 115V configuration.

The H.44T accepts shanks up to 1/4" in diameter and is supplied with 3/32", 1/8" and 1/4" collets plus a pin and chuck wrench. It measures 5-3/8" long and tapers from 1" to 3/4" in diameter, with a slightly tapered nose for a more comfortable grip during detail work. The motor is reversible, which helps left handed users, extends abrasive life, supports symmetrical carving techniques, eases drill bit extraction and speeds metal polishing. The Foredom motor carries a two year warranty.
