Foredom M.LX Motor with C.TXR Plastic Foot Control 115V

The Foredom M.LX Motor with C.TXR Plastic Foot Control is a purpose-built flex shaft system designed for the professional jewelry stone setter. This combination pairs the M.LX 1/10 HP permanent magnet, ball bearing motor with the C.TXR variable speed foot control in a plastic housing, delivering the high-torque, low-speed performance that demanding stone-setting work requires.

The LX Series motor is the direct successor to Foredom's no longer produced EE, R, and original L series units — all developed specifically for professional stone setters who work at low speeds and need a motor that maintains torque without bogging down under load. With a maximum of 5,000 RPM and a permanent magnet design running on DC current, the M.LX is engineered to hold steady power through the precise, controlled movements stone setting demands.

Important: The LX series motors require speed controls with special electronics that convert AC current to DC current. LX and TX series controls use a shielded plug design unique to these motors. SR series controls are not compatible with LX series motors and cannot be modified or adapted for this use. The TXR, SXR, and EMX controls are all designed with the correct plug and electronics for LX and TX series motors.
