S-93/77-43 Optional Longer Shaft 43" & Sheath Combo

The Foredom S-93/77-43 Shaft & Sheath Combo is a longer-length, factory-assembled replacement set consisting of the S-93-43 Inner Shaft (43") and the S-77-43 Outer Sheath (46-3/8"). Pre-lubricated and ready to install, this combo is designed for Foredom key-tip flex shaft motors when extra reach beyond the standard 39"/36-1/4" configuration is required. Also referred to as a Key Tip Motor Shaft and Sheath.

Designed for Foredom key-tip flex shaft motors, including the SR, TX, LX, PGX, S, CC, PG, R, K, 900, and 990 series.

Notes

1. Unplug the motor before performing any maintenance or replacement.
2. Remove the old assembly and inspect the sheath bore for scoring or deformation before installing the new set.
3. Attach the S-77-43 sheath to the motor, then insert the S-93-43 shaft until fully engaged.
4. Reconnect the handpiece and test at low speed; re-lubricate per Foredom's recommended maintenance interval.

• If a shaft broke inside an existing sheath, the sheath bore may be damaged. Replacing both components together helps prevent premature wear of the new shaft.
• Never operate a Foredom flex shaft motor without the outer sheath properly attached.
