Foredom S-93/77 Shaft 39" & Sheath Combo

The Foredom S-93/77 Shaft & Sheath Combo pairs the S-93 inner shaft (39") with the S-77 outer sheath (36-1/4") in a single, factory pre-lubricated assembly ready for immediate installation. Sometimes referred to as a key-tip motor shaft and sheath, this is the standard-length assembly supplied with many new Foredom systems and is a direct replacement for worn or broken shaft and sheath sets on compatible motors.

Specifications

Installation & Use

1. Unplug the motor before beginning any maintenance or installation.
2. Remove the old shaft and sheath; inspect the sheath interior for wear or scoring.
3. Attach the S-77 sheath to the motor, then insert the S-93 shaft fully until engaged.
4. Reconnect the handpiece and run briefly at low speed to confirm smooth operation.

Notes

• Never operate a Foredom motor without the outer sheath properly attached.
• If a shaft breaks inside the sheath, the sheath interior may be damaged — replace the sheath along with the shaft to prevent premature wear.
• Re-lubricate per Foredom's recommended maintenance interval or whenever operation feels dry or rough.
• Longer shaft and sheath combos for extended reach are available separately.
