Part of the original Fretz Jewelers Hammer line — the most popular in the growing Fretz collection — the HMR-6 sits in the middle of the Fretz family: larger than the Fretz Precisionsmith hammers and smaller than the Fretz Silversmithing hammers, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of metalsmithing tasks.

The planishing face is round, 20mm in diameter, and ideal for smoothing and refining metal surfaces. The replaceable plastic insert is held securely in place by a set screw, allowing for easy replacement when worn.
