Fretz M-101 High Dome Mushroom Stake 35mm Round

The Fretz M-101 High Dome Mushroom Stake is designed to dome small metal elements into high dome shapes with precision and control. When placed in an E-101 Extension Stake, it functions as a bottoming stake for container shapes with rounded bottoms, expanding its versatility for hollowware and small-form metalsmithing work.

This 35mm round stake is compatible with multiple Fretz mounting systems, giving metalsmiths the flexibility to choose the setup that best suits their workbench configuration and depth-of-access requirements.

This stake is designed for use with the following Fretz mounting systems:

• Fretz H-1 Miniature Stake Holder (112.600) — for standard bench or tabletop mounting
• Fretz H-1L Extended Reach Stake Holder (112.719) — for increased working clearance on the bench or tabletop
• Fretz T-101 Double Ended Stake Holder (112.721) — for deeper access beyond the H-1L; requires a larger stake holder due to larger tang
• Fretz E-101 Extender Stake Holder with Wedge Kit (112.726) — for maximum extended reach; requires a larger stake holder due to larger tang; also converts stake to a bottoming stake for rounded-bottom container shapes

Notes

When using this stake with the T-101 or E-101 holders, be aware that both have larger tangs than the H-1 and H-1L and will therefore require appropriately sized stake holders. Select your holder based on the depth of access your forming work demands.
