Fretz M-113A 20mm Starting Fluting Stake 36mm Long

The Fretz M-113A 20mm Starting Fluting Stake is a specialized forming tool designed for use in the fluting process for narrow convex cuff bracelets and bangles. This stake is the first step in a three-stage fluting sequence: begin shaping with the M-113A, refine the form with the M-113 convex cuff stake, and complete the fluting process with the M-113B finishing fluting stake. Working through this progression ensures clean, consistent flutes on narrow cuff and bangle forms.

The M-113A is 36mm long with a 20mm working surface, providing precise control over narrow convex profiles. Mount this stake using the Fretz H-1 stake holder (112.600) or the Fretz extended reach H-1L stake holder (112.719) for standard bench or tabletop use. For work requiring deeper access, the Fretz double-ended stake holder T-101 (112.721) or the Fretz extender holder E-101 (112.726) can provide additional working room. Note that both the T-101 and E-101 feature larger tangs and will require correspondingly larger stake holders.
