Built around the same Japanese-made triplet lenses found in the world's most expensive jeweler's loupes, this is the only 22mm 10X triplet loupe available anywhere — delivering the widest possible field of view at this magnification.

The 22mm achromatic lens is corrected for both spherical and chromatic aberrations, which means diamonds and gemstones viewed through this loupe exhibit minimal edge distortion and accurate color rendition — critical factors when color grading and clarity grading stones. The optical glass is treated with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating to protect lens integrity during daily professional use.

The body features a non-reflective aluminum anodized finish with a non-reflective gold anodized cover. Optics are assembled in Taiwan using the Japanese 22mm triplet lens system. Each loupe is professionally packaged and includes a soft storage pouch and nylon lanyard.

10X triplets are the standard for diamond color and clarity grading. For clarity grading purposes, if a flaw is not visible at 10X magnification, it does not affect the clarity grade. Higher-power loupes are rarely used in gemology due to their extremely narrow field of focus.
