Glardon-Vallorbe LAV2495 7" (180mm) Valtitan Needle File Sets of 6-Cuts 0 & 2

Needle files cut and shape metal in the small, confined places where a full-size file will not fit. This Glardon-Vallorbe LAV2495 set holds six 7-inch (180mm) Valtitan needle files in your choice of Cut 0 Coarse or Cut 2 Medium, each supplied as a tang only with no handle. Sold as a set of 6.

Valtitan needle files are specially treated to reach a hardness of 72 HRc on the Rockwell scale, the hardest steel file known. The treatment makes them corrosion resistant, longer lasting, and resistant to metal accumulation in the teeth, and a simple knock is typically enough to clear chips from the file.

Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss-made precision files are manufactured to exacting production standards, combining machine cutting with hand craftsmanship to produce accurate, fast-cutting, and long-lasting files. They are made of the finest heat-tempered, chrome alloy steel.

Each set contains one of each shape listed above, in the cut you select.

• File length is measured from tip to end of handle.
• Cut grades run from 0 (Coarse) to 6 (X-Fine); the higher the number, the finer the cut.
• Not all needle file shapes are available in all cuts.
• Beginning in 2016, Valtitan files are no longer identified by painted yellow tangs. They are now stamped VALTITAN to distinguish them from standard files.
