These miniature files mount in a reciprocating handpiece so fine filing and finishing can be driven off a flexshaft or micromotor instead of by hand. Glardon-Vallorbe Handpiece Files were developed through a collaboration between Badeco of Geneva, Switzerland, and UMV of Vallorbe, Switzerland, and are engineered specifically for Badeco reciprocating polishing and filing handpieces, bringing Swiss-made accuracy to fine work at the bench.
Each file measures 40mm in total length with a 26mm cut length and a 2.85mm shank diameter, a precise fit for compatible Badeco handpiece systems. Four profile shapes are offered: Pillar (Flat), Pillar Bent, 3-Square, and Round, each in Cut 0 Coarse for material removal or Cut 4 Fine for finishing, giving jewelers and metalsmiths targeted control across both ends of the job. The files are heat-tempered chrome alloy steel and carry no handle.
