Glardon-Vallorbe Warding Thin Precision Files - LP1268

Warding thin files work slots, keyways, and narrow channels where a thicker file will not fit. The Glardon-Vallorbe LP1268 is parallel in thickness, tapered in width, and thin, and is supplied as a tang only, with no handle. Measurements given are at the thickest point of the file.

Manufactured in Switzerland to exacting production standards using a combination of machine cutting and hand craftsmanship, these files deliver superior performance on all metals. Made from the finest heat-tempered chrome alloy steel, they offer the feel, action, and balance demanded by professional jewelers, metalsmiths, and watchmakers. They were formerly distributed by Grobet USA under the brand name Grobet Swiss.

• File lengths are measured from where the teeth begin to the end of the file and do not include the tang. A 6 inch file measures approximately 8-1/2 inches from tip to end of tang.
• Cut grades run from 000 (coarsest) to 4 (finest). Higher numbers indicate a finer cut.
