A cast earring mounting is set with a stone at the bench and finished into a stud, and this one is built for pear shapes on a friction ear post. The 3-prong head sits on a double gallery that supports the stone while keeping the profile refined, and the V-end orientation follows the point of the pear. Each mounting is made in the USA from 100% recycled 14K gold, in yellow or white, with a 0.030 in. (0.75 mm) friction post. Eleven stone sizes range from .15 ct to 3.00 ct. Sold by the piece, so order two for a pair.
