How we source our metal
A back that pushes on but has to be unscrewed to come off gives a fine earring more security at the ear than a plain friction nut, without slowing the customer down when putting it on. WR Cobb makes this nut-only finding in 14K yellow gold, 14K white gold, and 18K white gold, each with a 6.5mm (0.256") outside diameter.
These backs work best with threaded ear post 20B-350MAIN and also fit standard threaded ear nuts with a post diameter of 0.86mm (0.034").
