糸鋸のフレームは、作業台での穴あけや切断に使う刃を固定して張りを保ちます。喉の深さによって、端からどれだけ内側まで切れるかが決まります。Grobet USAの糸鋸フレームはスイスで設計・特許取得され、20世紀後半に登場した当時、画期的な製品でした。当時の標準的なフレームと比べて軽量でバランスが良く、人間工学に基づいて設計されたクッション付きハンドルが手の疲れを軽減し、細かな作業での操作性を高めます。

特筆すべき改良点は、特許取得済みのブレードロック設計です。刃の取り付けが簡単で、刃の位置を正確に保ち、ぐらつきをなくし、刃の破損を大幅に減らします。フレームは最高品質のばね鋼から精密に作られ、反射を抑えた仕上げが施されています。プロの日常使用を想定した設計で、作業者の好みに合わせて止めねじをフレームの左右どちら側にも取り付けられます。アジャスタブルフレームと固定フレームはどちらも喉の深さが2¾インチ（70 mm）あり、幅広い切断作業に十分な余裕を確保します。

Grobet USA Swiss Designed Jewelers Saw Frames - Fixed Frame

The frame is very comfortable and easy to control. The saw blade connections are different from what I'm used to. That's why I bought it. So, there was a small learning curve involved but nothing difficult. I actually like this style better, and changing blades will get faster as I get more familiar with it. It's a very smooth feeling saw frame which makes it easier to control. I recommend this saw frame.

Concerning the Grobet USA Swiss Designed Jewelers Saw. Do all saw blades fit the fixed length saw? I'm not sure which saw would be more of a universal fit. Is the fixed or adjustable frame more of a personal preference.

Fixed jewelers saw frames use jewelers saw blades which are 130mm (5.125") long. Adjustable jewelers saw frames do as well but allow for the use of saw blades that have broken (shorten).
