GRS 004-628 Multi-Purpose Vise

The GRS 004-628 Multi-Purpose Vise offers an economical alternative to a traditional engraving block without sacrificing precision or versatility. Built to GRS quality standards, this vise shares the GRS BenchMate "lift on/lift off" mounting system, allowing you to switch seamlessly between a bench pin, BenchMate, and this vise in seconds, with no tools required.

Positioned right at bench level in front of you, the vise tilts and rotates on two axes, adjusting to any working angle. This dual-axis flexibility reduces operator fatigue and improves efficiency during engraving, stonesetting, and related bench work.

Compatibility

The vise uses the GRS BenchMate lift on/lift off mounting system, so it swaps with a bench pin or a BenchMate in seconds without tools. Fitted with pin plates, it accepts many engraving attachments built for GRS standard 0.148" (3.75 mm) diameter pins.

Notes

• A GRS fixed mounting plate (part number 104.557) is required to use this vise, and it is not included.
• It is recommended that you also purchase the fixed and swivel pin plates, part numbers 103.526 and 103.527, to take full advantage of GRS standard pin-compatible engraving attachments.
• For the most complete setup, the optional GRS Attachment Set for the Multi-Purpose Vise (part number 103.520MPV) includes all attachments needed to fully utilize this vise, including both swivel pin plates.
