GRS 004-735 Inside Diameter Ring Holder With 20 Mandrels

A ring holder secures a ring at the bench so both hands stay free for engraving and setting. The GRS 004-735 Inside Diameter (ID) Ring Holder with 20 Mandrels from Glendo GRS holds the ring from the inside and gives jewelers, engravers, and stone setters unrestricted access to the full circumference. It is a significant upgrade over the original GRS ID Ring Holder: it offers a choice between two distinct holding actions—adjustable tension or firm locking—a capability the original single-tension model did not offer.

Use the included standard cone for adjustable tension, allowing the ring to rotate smoothly during engraving. Switch to the locking cone to lock the ring completely rigid, which suits pavé and standard stone setting where zero movement is essential. Both actions live in one tool body, which makes the holder adaptable across bench tasks.

This version includes 2 complete sets of 10 expanding mandrels (20 total), covering a wider size range than the original 7-collet set. Two mandrels of each size are provided, so a backup is on hand at every diameter. The ring holder body is made of steel and mounts in a vise or engraving block. It is not for use in a BenchMate. Made in the USA.
