hole not big enough for .91mm post

These are all right from a size standpoint; however, the hole (which appears "poked" rather than drilled or punched - in other words, it's almost a slit, rather than a round hole) fits my smaller (.76mm) posts, but DEFINITELY NOT my larger (.91mm) posts. Both of these post sizes are quite standard, and the description of this ear nut indicates it covers both sizes. I don't know if the batch I got (I ordered 6 packs of 12) was just poorly QA'd, or if these are always like this - just be aware that they may not fit larger post sizes without some drilling (more work for the jeweler!).

You are absolutely correct. So sorry for the misinformation. The stated range of post diameters that these nuts fit has been revised to .66mm to .76mm. They do not work on the thicker post. The holes are indeed slots and not rounded. These nuts have always been this way as we have been buying from these nuts from the same manufactuers for many years. We will reach out to you to see if you would like to return/refund or replace.
