Detail sanding and finishing inside settings, along shanks, and anywhere a rotary tool has to reach small areas. Japanese Roll Sanders are precision abrasive tools designed for detail sanding and finishing work in jewelry and metalsmithing. Each roll sander consists of high-quality waterproof aluminum oxide abrasive paper wrapped around a 3/32" (2.35 mm) diameter shank. The paper is bonded with glue at the base, so the roll stays securely wrapped until you are ready to expose a fresh layer of abrasive, giving you consistent, controlled cutting action throughout the life of the tool.
