JOOLTOOL 3M Scotchbrite 3" Coarse Unitized See-Thru Mounted Disc

The JoolTool 3M Scotch-Brite EXL Unitized See-Thru Mounted Disc in 3" Coarse is a surface conditioning abrasive designed to burnish, blend, and refine metal surfaces with precision. Rather than cutting or removing material, these unitized discs use a unique abrasive technology that burnishes and spreads metal along the surface — similar to spreading frosting evenly across a cake. The result is a beautifully consistent brushed, satin, or pre-polished finish when used as part of a progressive finishing sequence from coarse to very fine grades.

These discs are excellent for wiping off or blending in scratches and scuff marks on precious metals, and are particularly effective for removing porosity and parting lines in jewelry castings. Because the abrasive action burnishes rather than cuts, your precious metal is conditioned — not lost. Use the Coarse grade to quickly address heavy scratches and establish a strong pre-polished or satin foundation before moving to finer grades.

Note: Not recommended for carbide (high-carbon) metals, lapidary work, or glass.
