The JoolTool 3M Scotch-Brite EXL Unitized See-Thru Mounted Disc — 3" diameter, Very Fine grade — is designed to burnish, blend, and condition metal surfaces with precision. These unitized abrasive discs work by massaging and spreading surface material rather than removing it, effectively eliminating scratches, scuff marks, and surface imperfections while preserving your precious metal. When used in a progression from coarse to very fine grades, they produce exceptional brushed, satin, or pre-polished finishes suited to professional metalworking and jewelry production.

This disc excels at blending in scratches and wiping off scuff marks on precious metals and is particularly effective for removing porosity and parting lines in jewelry castings. The abrasive action can be likened to spreading frosting — material is redistributed along the surface rather than cut away, making these discs ideal where material preservation is critical.

Note: Not recommended for carbide (high-carbon) metals, lapidary work, or glass.
