This set turns a bench into a complete quick-change workholding station, so a setter or engraver can move from one holding method to the next without rebuilding the fixture. The Jura by GRS Extended Set Plus with GRS MicroBlock is a comprehensive quick-change workholding system assembled from the remaining Jura by GRS inventory at Otto Frei. Built around a GRS MicroBlock, the set covers inside-ring holding, outside-ring holding, pin-hole jaws, shellac and Thermo-Loc methods, tapered and ball holders, watch bezel collets, cylinder tops, and multiple organizers to keep everything sorted and within reach.
Otto Frei began distributing Jura products in September 2015 and introduced the line to U.S. customers at the JCK show in 2016. GRS became the worldwide manufacturer and distributor of Jura by GRS products in late 2019, with shipments beginning in March 2020. Production stopped in March 2023, and Otto Frei purchased the remaining Jura by GRS inventory from GRS on April 30, 2024. This Extended Set Plus is drawn from that remaining stock, consolidated into one comprehensive package.
The quick-change layout is designed to reduce setup time when moving between holding methods at the bench. Whether you are setting micro-stones, engraving, holding watch bezels, or working with irregular forms, the system moves cleanly from one configuration to the next without rebuilding from scratch.
Designed around the GRS MicroBlock and compatible with the Jura by GRS quick-change tools and holders included in the set. Shellac and thermoplastic holding methods are supported where specified, including use with Thermo-Loc, Jett-Set, or traditional shellac.
